What is Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church? Great question.
Christ -- We are built on the Christ of the Bible, Jesus, true God and true man, who suffered in our place and rose from the dead to assure us that we are forgiven.
Evangelical -- This means that we are committed to know God's good news and sharing that news of forgiveness and life in heaven with others.
Lutheran -- We believe and confess the truths of the Lutheran Reformation of the 16th century: that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, through the Scriptures alone. We are united with other churches that teach and believe the same thing.
Church -- Our church is not a building, but the people inside it who join together in a common confession of faith!
